  • How do I know if I need an interior designer?

    • You’re overwhelmed by the thought of picking the right paint colors (did you know there are 100s of shades of white?!)

    • You’re considering new construction, an addition, renovation, remodel or just a refresh and you need an interior designer to complement your architect and focus on the daily functionality and details of all the interiors.

    • You’re too busy with your own life and work to take on a project of this size and scale.

    • Your space lacks style or doesn’t suit your lifestyle.

    • You know the interior style you want and like, but you don’t know how to make it happen.

    • You want help incorporating new furnishings with existing ones.

    • You want to minimize expensive mistakes and the cost of fixing them.

    • Your home was great 10 or 20 years ago, but it just doesn’t have the right flow or feeling that your family needs today.

    • You’ve tried to design your own home and realized that you don’t know where to find the right pieces or how to form a cohesive design style.

If you answered “YES” to any of the above, an interior designer is right for you!

How much will an interior designer cost? Design Services range in investment depending on the type of project and the scope of work. All my design fees are flat rate fees so you’ll know ahead of time exactly what it will cost to have an interior designer transform your space. One thing you can be sure of is that I’ll be transparent in my pricing model and fee schedule; an honest partnership is the most important aspect of your project!

I’ve already had an architect draw up plans - is it too late to bring on an interior designer? While the best time to hire an interior designer is before any plans are drawn up so that everyone gets started on the right foot, it’s never too late to bring an interior designer onto the project!

How long will the process take? For renovation and new construction projects the process can take as short as a few months and as long as a few years - it all depends on the size and scope of your project. The best results are always produced when there is enough time to consider every detail of your project. You will know the schedule and estimated timeline of your project as soon as you become a client and your project is added to my Design Calendar.

Will you work with my existing contractor? Yup!

How is this different than a Full Service Design project? Full Service Design means I will create a turn-key design experience for your project, from initial concept through to the final installation. Renovation & Construction projects include the creative services and selections that would ordinarily go into a Full Service project, but they don’t include any furnishings, lighting (other than hardwired fixtures), art, accessories or décor.
